Nigel Boardman has been working in horticulture for almost 3 decades and we have been building school playgrounds for twenty years.

Knowledge

We have achieved 15 RHS Hampton Court Awards for Garden Design and Nigel has experience as competition judge for the RHS combined with encyclopaedic knowledge of plants.

Personal Touch

Nigel will manage your project from start to finish. He will meet you to discuss your requirements, create your design and oversee all stages of installation through to the completion of your project.

We only operate a limited number of projects at any one time to ensure we remain focussed on delivering the highest standard of quality service to our clients.

About Boardman Gelly

Boardman, Gelly & Co is a family-run company managed by Nigel Boardman (RHS Judge) and Stephen Gelly (RoSPA trained, operational school playground inspector).We pride ourselves on providing an efficient, high-quality, friendly service covering all aspects of garden and playground design and landscaping.

Since creating our first RHS award-winning garden in 1992, we have had the pleasure of designing many beautiful gardens for clients in London and Surrey.  Receiving positive feedback is as important to us as winning awards. The fact that almost all of our new business comes directly from personal referrals is something that we are very proud of indeed.

We employ a team of around 8 staff who carry out every aspect of the projects we undertake. Our clients can rest assured that all the work is carried out to the same high standards – from design through to installation. The same standards apply to our onsite working practices, including our attention to safety and the courtesy and consideration we show each and every one of our customers.
